The Fund

  Kids come in all shapes, sizes, colors, attitudes and desires. Everyday life challenges can be daunting to even the best adjusted youngster.  When given some freedom from the pressures of just growing up, kids often turn to recreational activity such as skateboarding, snowboarding, art and creating music. Often  financial support to help with the expenses of these activities isn't available,  and this is where the Scott Stamnes Give to Kid's Fund makes a difference.

 Skate shops and Ski & Snowboard shops help to identify kids in need, as well as word of mouth so that funds are made available to provide new equipment from boards, to helmets, pads , contest fees, art and music materials. Youths are encouraged to write a short essay on why they have this passion and request the equipment or materials they need. They then can submit an application for scholarship support and the fund can provide help where needed.
 
 Scott was always handing over his own personal equipment to others, this simply carries on what he did.
